Meet Cypress, Our Wide Purr-ceiver
Cypress may be small, but this little athlete has the heart of a champion. She was found in a cat colony, crying in pain after suspected abuse. Her back and legs were covered in deep lacerations, with her skin and ligament literally torn from her body. She now has a completely torn tendon in her back left leg.
As if that weren’t enough, Cypress also has radial nerve damage in her front leg, yet she still greets everyone with gentle purrs the moment you approach her. Her resilience is nothing short of incredible. The full cost of her surgery hasn’t been confirmed, but between her specialist visit and necessary lab work, expenses are expected to reach around $1,000.
Cypress is working hard to regain her strength, she’s receiving medical care, proper nutrition, and the comfort of a warm space for the first time in a long time. What she needs most right now are donations to cover her ongoing care and supplies as she continues to heal and prepare for adoption.

Meet Bliss, Our Special Teams Pup
Bliss has had to fight through her fair share of challenges. She was once dumped in Salinas, California, and was eventually rushed to the ER after a suspected IVDD injury. She’s now defying the odds and learning to move again, proving her spirit is as strong as ever. But recently, her journey took another difficult turn when she began experiencing seizures and had to be rushed to the ER. After tests and emergency care, Bliss is now back home and on medication to help manage her condition, but the cause remains uncertain. Her next steps could include costly diagnostic testing like an MRI.
Right now, Bliss needs help covering the cost of her ER visit, ongoing medications, and follow-up care. Every donation helps this girl stay strong and comfortable as she continues her road to recovery.
Meet Tootsie, Our Wingback
Every team needs a great defender, and for this week’s starting lineup, that’s Tootsie. Once struck in a violent hit-and-run accident, Tootsie was left on the road with a broken wing. His strength is nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s a miracle that Animal Control found him in time to bring him to safety.
Now in the care of his rescue team, Tootsie is receiving critical treatment to stabilize his wing. He’s too weak to eat on his own, so the team hand-feeds him daily as he rebuilds his strength. Soon he may need surgery to insert pins in his wing to help it heal properly.

His rescuers rushed him to the vet, where it was confirmed that his leg couldn’t be saved and would require amputation.
Red’s strength has stunned everyone who’s met him. Even after surgery, his determination shines through. He’s learning to adjust, heal, and find comfort in the care he’s finally receiving. But the costs of his emergency treatments and ongoing recovery have left his rescue facing a heavy medical bill, now over $2,000.

He’s being treated for severe mange, multiple types of worms, and a serious leg injury that may require orthopedic surgery if he’s ever going to walk without pain again. Despite everything, Phillip greets his caregivers with gentle eyes and quiet gratitude. He’s just thankful to have a warm place to rest and clean water in his bowl.
